How to Register:   
There are two ways to register to attend the walk.
1) As a Fundraiser:
Click the "Fundraiser" tab on the right to set up your fundraising page either as an individual or a team. This is a fun way to raise awareness and collect donations of any goal you set!
All donations raised by the walk are kept locally and provide programs and services at low or no-cost to families living north of the Capital District.
Fundraising for the walk allows families with individuals who have "differing abilities" to achieve an "active membership" with UNYAA for the entire year.
2) Non-Fundraiser:  
Click the "Non-Fundraiser" tab on the right if you wish to attend the walk to show your support, but do not wish to fundraise. You will get a wristband granting you access to the day's festivities for $20pp.
You can also select the option to get a walk t-shirt/registration combo package under this tab for $50pp.
What to Expect:
The event will consist of an info fair, entertainment, a GIANT raffle, pony rides, petting zoo, games, and our celebratory "Walk for a Difference" which is approximately 1 mile in and around Crandall Park to honor local individuals and families living with the challenges of autism.
We encourage families to bring a picnic lunch and drinks to enjoy with your team as well as chairs, blankets, etc. to sit with friends. If you bring a pop-up tent, we will have a designated area for you to set up.
Walk Shirts:
Those wishing to receive a 2023 Walk T-shirt, need to PRE-REGISTER AND raise/donate $50 per person by August 15th so we can order your desired sizes. They will be available for pick up at the walk.
Offline Donations:
If you will be collecting offline donations, you can turn them in and we will add those here to your online fundraising page so that you will be eligible for contests, prizes and earn your annual walk T-shirts. Contact us at (518) 791-2703 to submit those.
We will have amazing prizes and contests for this year’s teams and TOP fundraisers!
Our annual post walk party for teams raising over $500 will be in October and is a family favorite!
