WELCOME WALKERS TO THE 17TH ANNUAL
"WALK FOR A DIFFERENCE" AND FAMILY FUN DAY!

How to Register:
1) As a Fundraising Team or Individual:
Click the "REGISTER HERE" button above to register and set up your fundraising page either as an individual or a team.
The person setting up the team will be the TEAM CAPTAIN. You can invite others to join your team (see below).
This is a fun way to raise awareness and collect donations of any goal you set!
All donations raised by the walk are kept locally and provide programs and services at low or no-cost to families living north of the Capital District.
Fundraising for the walk allows families with individuals who have "differing abilities" to achieve an "active membership" with UNYAA for the entire year.
2) Join a Team:
Once the Team Captain has registered and created the team and fundraising page, other team members can join the team to help them reach their goal and also set their own personal fundraising goal.
To "Join a Team", click the "REGISTER HERE" button above and select "Join a Team" and select the team you want to join.
3) Non-Fundraiser:
Walkers wishing to attend the event to show their support, but do not wish to fundraise, can pre-register by clicking the NON-FUNDRAISER tab on the menu bar.
Registration cost is $20 per person for wristbands granting access to the day's festivities.
Registration/Walk shirt Combo Package is also available here for $50.
What to Expect:
The event will consist of entertainment, a GIANT raffle, pony rides, petting zoo, bounce houses, and our celebratory "Walk for a Difference" which is approximately 1 mile in and around Crandall Park to honor local individuals and families living with the challenges of autism.
We encourage families to bring a picnic lunch and drinks to enjoy with your team as well as chairs, blankets, etc. to sit with friends. If you bring a pop-up tent, we will have a designated area for you to set up.
Walk Shirts:
Those wishing to receive a 2024 Walk T-shirt, need to PRE-REGISTER AND raise/donate $50 per person by August 20th so we can order your desired sizes. They will be available for pick up at the walk.
Offline Donations:
If you will be collecting offline donations, you can turn them in and we will add those here to your online fundraising page so that you will be eligible for contests, prizes and earn your annual walk T-shirts. Contact us at (518) 791-2703 to submit those.
We will have amazing prizes and contests for this year’s teams and TOP fundraisers!
Our annual post walk party for teams raising over $500 will be in October and is a family favorite!
